This Privacy Policy explains how Runners ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information through our website (runnerslb.com), our delivery services, and the Runners Tracker driver app. By using our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who This Applies To

This policy covers three groups of people:

• Customers who order delivery, shopping, pharmacy, or courier services from us.
• Clients (merchants/businesses) who contract Runners for delivery fulfilment.
• Drivers who use the Runners Tracker app to receive and complete deliveries.

2. Information We Collect

From customers and clients

• Name, phone number, and delivery address
• Order details (items, pickup/dropoff locations, payment amount)
• Communications sent to us via WhatsApp or other channels

From drivers (Runners Tracker app)

• Name, phone number, and a driver login code
• A PIN used to log into the app (stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash — we cannot see your actual PIN)
• Location data, including background location while you are on shift ("Go Online" in the app). We collect this to show your live position on the operations map, calculate delivery times, and assign nearby orders. Location is only collected while you are online for a shift — turning your shift off ("Go Offline") stops location collection immediately.
• Delivery and order records assigned to you, and amounts collected on deliveries
• Wallet balance and transaction history within the app
• A push notification device token, used to alert you of new order assignments

3. How We Use This Information

• To operate deliveries: assigning orders, tracking progress, and confirming completion
• To pay drivers accurately and maintain wallet/settlement records
• To communicate with customers and drivers about active orders
• To improve routing, coverage, and service reliability
• To meet legal and accounting obligations

4. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with:

• Supabase, our database and backend infrastructure provider, which stores order, driver, and location data on our behalf under its own security and data-processing terms.
• Expo, which relays push notifications to the Runners Tracker app (only a device token is shared, not your personal data).
• Third-party delivery partners, only when an order is fulfilled through a partner courier, and only the information necessary to complete that delivery.
• Authorities, if required by Lebanese law or a valid legal request.

5. Data Retention

We retain order, delivery, and driver records for as long as needed for accounting, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Location data collected during shifts is retained for operational history and is not used to track drivers outside of active shifts.

6. Your Rights

You can request to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal and accounting retention obligations
• Withdraw consent for location tracking by not using the "Go Online" feature (note: this is required for active driver shifts)

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed credentials (PINs are never stored in plain text). No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children. The Runners Tracker driver app is intended only for drivers engaged by Runners, who must be adults.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
